Here's how it works...

Isn't it incredible!?!?
And then I created a card set using the new Build A Banner
I love the contrast of the feminine laurel stamps with the Maple Woodgrain paper.  :) Seriously, makes me so happy!

Go-to Gal Designer Challenge: Elle's Studio

It's the last Wednesday of the month and that means it is time for another Paper Crafts magazine Go-to Gal Designer Challenge.  This month, we're focusing on products from Elle's Studio!

For my card, I played with a bunch of goodies from the Cameron collection.  I love this collection - the colors are amazing and very inspirational.

Now it's off to check out the other Go-to Gals to see how they've used products from Elle's Studio.

I love these little owls so much!  I love giving Halloween treats so I made so cute little tags.  I stamped the owls and speech bubbles and them masked them and stamped the polka dots from You Said It, Sister in a light grey ink.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Avery Elle - Laurels

Happy Tuesday!
I’m popping in again to share another Avery Elle set that I am super excited about.  Meet Laurels - Jamie is previewing it today on the Avery Elle blog so I figured I could share it here too!  Hopefully that's okay! :)

If you saw Build A Banner yesterday, you know I'm now smitten with two-tone stamped images, and if you follow me at all, you know I have a thing for bows.  When I sent Jamie my idea for the banner set, I also included a few other requests... which she executed to perfection!
Along with the two-tone stamped bow, I begged for symmetrical laurel branches, with symmetrical coordinating dies.  To go along with it all, flowers seemed to compliment the set perfectly.  Oh yeah, and the sentiments and build-able and match Oh Happy Day

Here's the concept, assembled.
It couldn’t be more perfect... and here's a sneak...
So, are you as excited as I am!?

Fresh Squeezed Stamps: Say Anything

Hello! Today is the first day of the September release at Fresh Squeezed Stamps.
Today, the design team is sharing projects showcasing Say Anything.  Be sure to check out the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog to see the rest of the design team cards and enter for a chance to win this set!  Here's mine.
This is a great set because it's full of miscellaneous sayings that sometimes you just need, but maybe you don't need a full set of... :)

When I saw this set, I knew I wanted to use the great coach sentiment.  I had a few ideas but then my 3 year old daughter pulled off the long stamp (which I think is super cool by the way) and was playing with it - she's super helpful.  She had it curved and it hit me it's perfect to create a baseball! :) LIGHTBULB (in a Gru voice!)

Have a great day!  See you tomorrow!

Avery Elle - Build A Banner

Happy Monday!
I’m popping in really quick to share an Avery Elle set that I am super excited about.  Introducing Build A Banner - Jamie is previewing it today on the Avery Elle blog so I figured I could share it here too!  Hopefully that's okay! :)

I’m obsessed with banners, I love them!  A while back, I wanted a two-tone banner, so I sent my request to Jamie… and this is what she came up with!
It couldn’t be more perfect.  I'll be back later in the week with a video of how it works and some examples, but for now - here's some a picture of the images put together!
Don't forget about the matching dies and cut files!
I will be sharing why I love Avery Elle cut files very soon!!!

Sunshine

Happy Saturday friends!  Today I'm on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog with this card.
I used Weather Through and The Sweet Life to create this card.  To create this card, I die cut my favorite Die-Namics notebook die and stamped and masked the clouds.  To fill them in with color, I used my ink dauber. :) I've had some questions about this so I'll try to post a video soon!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Good Times

Hello!
I'm on the Avery Elle blog sharing this card I made with Aim High clear photopolymer stamp set.   I love this set, it's amazing.
To create this card, I masked the side and stamped the arrows.  Then, I die cute an arrow using the coordinating dies and accented it with some enamel dots.

One last thing - see that grey cardstock? It's the perfect shade of grey - it's Avery Elle Fog.  I use it a TON.  If you haven't tried it - you must!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Celebrate

Hello weekend!  I'm over on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog today sharing this card.
To create this card, I stamped the bows first, then I added the string then lightbulbs.  To add color to the light bulbs, I masked the outside of them and used a sponge dauber and an ink pad to add color!  I use this technique a lot because of the neat texture it adds to the images!

All the images are from String Me Along and the sentiment is from Everyday Expressions.

JFF: Hello Stinker!

When was the last time you created something Just For Fun? I'll be the first to admit I rarely do and sometimes that really gets to me.  It's easy to get so wrapped up in Design Team commitments and deadlines that crafting for the purpose of having fun can be hard to do.

Well, I have a Just For Fun (JFF) card to share with you today!
I've had the new Lawn Fawn release since the day it was available, I just haven't had much time to use it!  So, it was definitely time to get it inked up!

I started with my polaroid from Say Cheese.  I love critter stamps and the polaroid stamp allows me to scale down the size of my scene to something very manageable.  If you don't have this polaroid stamp, you really do need it!  I stamped the skunk from Lawn Fawn's Into the Woods and then added color with an ink dauber and masking.  Once I had my skunk all colored, I masked him and stamped the clouds as bushes.  Since I wanted to add some texture, I kissed those same clouds with Avery Elle's Texture Tiles Be Cool.  Then, I added some blue to the sky with my dauber as well.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing a part of your day with me!

Hey Foxy!

Hi all!  I'm over on the Avery Elle blog today sharing this card!
I used Avery Elle's Happy Camper to create this scene!  I love it!
Short and sweet from me today!  Hope you're having a great week!

Be You

Hi everyone!  I'm over on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog featuring this card.
I love building patterns and shapes so Trendy Triangles was very fun for me to play with to create my card. I stamped the solid triangle repeatedly to create a hexagon shape.  Then I used the "arrowhead" to create the chevron pattern.  The sentiment is from Words to Live By.

My favorite stamp ever

TGIF friends!  I'm popping in with an extra card to share today!
For this card, I used Avery Elle's Home Sweet Home and paper pieced the teepee together to create this scene.   The twine is from Lawn Fawn.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Suzani

Hello!  I'm popping in with a card I made using the new Avery Elle Suzani stamp set, it's on the Avery Elle blog today!

I love stamp sets that are different from my regular style, this is something that it's naturally me but oh gosh do I love it!

I created my own stamped background with the two images, stamping a darker color inside and lighter color outside. The sentiment is from Oh Happy Day
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
