It's your time

Hello friends!  I'm so excited to show you my card for today, it's also up on the Avery Elle blog
I used the new Avery Elle Look Up stamp set to create this card and simply colored the feathers in with my Copics. I made my own mist with watercolor spatter. :)  I love this sentiment so much.  I think it's a good twist for so many occasions - graduation, new job, off to college.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Lil' Inker Designs: Blog Hop and Farewell

It's Lil' Inker Designs release day!  Hooray, this release is fantastic!
This Eat More Donuts set is so cool.  Have I ever mentioned how much I love teacher sentiments that aren't stereotypical teacher-ish!
With 2 kids in school, I will be using this set a lot!

This set - I'm All, You're All - it's awesome.  Clever, clever Laura and ladies!  Stitched Speech Bubbles - be still my heart!  I'm in Heaven!

Generally I'd be thrilled that it's Lil' Inker Designs blog hop time, but today I'm a little sad.  This is my last post as a part of the Lil' Inker Design Team.  I've loved being a part of Lil' Inker so much!  Unfortunately my day job has blown up exponentially and I no longer have the free time I once did.  So, I had to make the tough, tough decision to step down from my position on Lil' Inker.  Thank you Laura and everyone for inviting me to your team.  What an honor!

Now it is off to Jen Carter's blog for the rest of the hop!

Here's the entire hop list if you need it!

Go-to Gal Designer Challenge: Stampin' Up

***This is my 2nd post of the day, for my Lil' Inker Designs release post, click HERE or scroll down!***

Hip hip hooray!  It's Designer Challenge day!  Yep, it's the last Wednesday of the month (Seriously, where did October go?!) and so it's time for the Go-to Gals to play!

Today, we're featuring Stampin' Up!
Stampin' Up gets me every time!  Their ribbon is just incredible!  Scrumptious!

For my project, I decided to focus on something other than a card because at Christmas I am all about the packaging!

To create my pretty package, I used the kraft polka dot baggies and wrapped it with Cherry Cobbler Striped Grosgrain ribbon.  Then, I used the new Wonderous Wreath and dies set to create my tag.  Eek, I love this stamp and die set!

Now it's off to see what the other girls cooked up!

Laina Lamb had to sit this month out but stop by anyways and say Hi!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Joy to the World

The new Avery Elle Joy to the World has got to be one of my most favorite Christmas stamp sets ever.
Globes are such a huge trend but this also works well for Christmas ornaments and even a moon!  I love versatility like this!

I have this card up on the Avery Elle blog today.
I stamped the globe using the new Joy to the World coordinating die cuts and then assembled them onto my card.  I used the new Finished Frames dies to create the fancy panel of this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Mama Elephant Stampede!

Seriously, pinch me.
I love Mama Elephant.  I LOVE Mama Elephant so much - to be participating in the 2nd anniversary stampede is such an honor!  If you're joining mid-way - be sure to head to the MAMA ELEPHANT BLOG to start from the beginning!
I got to play with the new Mama Elephant Peace On Earth stamp set.
Gorgeous, right? Sigh - I find this set just beautiful.

Now for a few projects with this set...
First I layered the sentiment on a pile of patterned papers, gold foil paper and vellum.  I then heat embossed the doves and added gold die cut accents with the Confetti die.  The striped stamp along the bottom of the sentiment panel is from Basic Borders.

Next up, I used the same sentiment on a shimmery card stock base.  Then, I added a cityscape die and some snow drifts using the landscape trio die to create a little scene!

For the celebration, there's a deal over on the Mama Elephant website!
* There will be a 10% discount code active for the 3 day blog hop (HAPPY2ME)
* Purchases over $100 will receive the HAPPY EVERYTHING stamp set free.

  • Let's get to the projects, shall we???
For my first project, I used the new Bokeh Dots, Merry & Bright stampsthe new (and coolest) stag die and words dies from Merry and Bright!  The little hearts are from the Home & Hearth die set. I used vellum to make the bokeh dots a little more subtle and then stamped the hearts on the vellum!

Next, I kept it one layer and used the Bokeh Dots and words dies from Merry and Bright

Tis the Season is seriously one of the cutest stamp sets EVER!  It just makes me HAPPY!

The Merry & Bright stamp set is a full of possibilities!  I used stamped the string and sentiment and then went in and stamped and colored in the lightbulbs.  Then, I added a white gel pen accent and coated the  light bulbs with glossy accents.

Last project to share with you is my Zipper Panel die project, and I thought this was the PERFECT Christmas Tree ornament die.  How fun is this to hide a gift card or moola in!?!?  I used the new Home & Hearth dies to create a die cut scene and a Cozy Christmas sentiment which pairs perfectly!

     Here's the inside. :)

Now for some fun to share...  the sweet and extremely generous Ellen & Julie are offering up a prize!
Yes, I have a set of Merry & Bright to give away!

Please leave a comment ON THIS BLOG POST by October 8th!  Winners will be announced October 9th!
Now it's off to Kittie Caracciolo's blog!  Thanks so much for stopping by and joining us for this very, very special hop!

    Add a little dazzle

It's Add A Little Dazzle and Avery Elle week!  This week the Avery Elle design team is playing with some amazing metal sheets from Add A Little Dazzle.  These sheets work great with our Elle-ments dies!  After visiting here, be sure to check out the Add A Little Dazzle blog for even more inspiration!  Be sure to comment on our company and designer blogs throughout to week to be entered to win one of two prizes - a $30 Avery Elle Gift Certificate or a prize from Add A Little Dazzle!  Winners will be announced on Monday, October 6th.

For my project today, I combined a sentiment from Look Up on a stamped (with my favorite Sea Glass ink) background using the Brushed stamp set.  Then, I die cut stars from Finished Frames from my Add a Little Dazzle metal sheets and adhered them to a panel also mounted on a magnetic sheet!  Very fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
