Whale hello!

Seriously, where does the time go?  I can't believe Christmas is Friday!  Yikes!
I'm sharing a card from the new Avery Elle Whale Hello set today!

I must admit that I did draw this set with my children in mind.  Their school mascot is the orca sea wolf - so I know I will get lots of use out of this mini set!

I used a piece of patterned paper to cover my card from with a die cut banner to ground my sea wolf.  Killer, right?

I'll be back tomorrow with another whale card. :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Avery Elle Pixie Dust

Hello hello!
Today I'm on the Avery Elle blog playing with the new set, Pixie Dust
http://www.averyelle.com/pixie-dust-clear-stamps/#_a_32
I know I'm slightly biased since I drew it but eek I love it!  Having two young kids, I just know I'll use this set a lot for birthday parties and when the tooth fairy visits!  The tooth wand just gets me!

First, since I never seem to have enough birthday cards, I created this sweet card.  I stamped tone-on-tone stars on a Silver Fox card base to create a custom background.

Next, I created a watercolor background. Super easy and very fun to color.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a great day!

Avery Elle Winter 2015 Blog Hop

Wahooo!  It's Avery Elle blog hop day for the Winter 2015 release!  Are you as exited as I am?  Eeep!

Today, I'm playing with the new Hogs and Kisses and coordinating dies as well.

For my first card, I used the pig - who might be my favorite in this set.
I love how the grass can be die cut instead of stamped.  I used the Scalloped Banner die to frame him and then mounted the entire thing on a piece of patterned paper from the Avery Elle Neutral Collection 6x6 patterned paper pad

Next, I had to use the cow and surround him with a bunch of chickens.  So punny - I just love it!

Now to the hop - here's the entire list.  You're next stop is Yainea!

Avery Elle Winter 2015 Release Sneaks!

Hello! I'm so excited to finally share a few new stamp sets that I drew.  These will be available for purchase on Thursday but since I'm extra excited, I'm sharing them here now! :)  I'll also share projects made with these sets on the blog hop Thursday.

First up - Hogs & Kisses!   All of the sentiments fit inside the hearts, held or admired by barnyard critters.   The cuteness makes me squeal!!!

Of course it has coordinating dies as well.

Next up - Pixie Dust!  I've needed this set for awhile.  I adore these little pixies and think they'll be super sweet on a card.  Notice that tooth wand and congratulations?  That's perfect for in my house these days. :)

I've got another set that I'll share tomorrow?  But, I'd love to know - what's your favorite set so far?
XOXO!
